BACK FROM OIP!!OMG. YUNNAN'S A FABULOUS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY <3 I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
DID SO MANY FIRST TIMES...almost got pick-pocketed too. I remember that guy's face. He was smiling when he denied taking my wallet. Should be a futile attempt.
hmph. BUT the feeling's quite cool when my oip friends crowded around the man to prevent him from escaping. :D thanks everyone :) :) you guys are really a bunch of awesome OIP groupmates <3 Especially Min Ying. thanks for being so observant :D
Celebrated my birthday there too! 15 candles! It's been so long since i've so many candles, and with such a mega big delicious awesome cake :) and so many people (30+) celebrating it with me...thanks everyone! I really enjoyed 16/10/2011!
Xavier gave me an awesome Beethoven movie DVD, Keryn Liyan and Marissa gave me a pink rose with nice scent ^^, danielle gave me awesome music shoelaces(can wear together with my music epicsocks :D), 2 guys(if I'm not wrong, ryan and someone else?? I didn't see who because i kept my head low when they gave me the present-i was shy lah -.-) gave me a bracelet(hahaha), and Pingyu gave me a handmade DOLL! she sewn it herself..^^ Thanks everyone =D =D =D
I also made my first yangqin friend in the Yunnan Arts Institute! her name is Lee Yong Ting :D She's 18 years old and she's ALSO the ONLY Yangqin student in the sch! She has stayed 6 whole years in school already...and she said she really wish that there'll be another yangqin student to join the school. Ah she echoes my thoughts! <3 <3 she's really nice and friendly and we had such a great time learning from each other! At the end of the day she gave me a very very very touching letter...:( :( sobs....!lala I also made some Chinese instrumental friends, like the 2 dizi guys, the friendly erhu girl, the quiet pipa-turned-piano girl. And since pingyu and I helped Dr tan to translate during her masterclasses, I also made friends with 2 piano students, 18 yr old Huang ting chun ni(4 syllables name XD) and 16 yr old Yang Yu Ting!! :D :D And they taught me lots of Kunnming dialect....:D :D HAHAHHAHAAHAHA
Needless to say, the scenery in Yunnan is breathtakingly spectacular! Autumn and Winter scenery! Saw a real rainbow for the first time live!!!Saw such colourful shades of trees and mountains(gold red white green yellow brown all mixed together) for the first time!!!Saw and touched snow for the first time! Experienced 0 degree weather for the first time~ I love Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, and Shang-ri La(Diqing, Tibet)!!!!
All the other descriptive stuff are in my reflections :D :D Shall leave it there :)
Btw I created a QQ account! Ping Yu too!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAH
Added Yong Ting and the erhu friend already. And PY too. hahaha.

Back to school!
Okay..so we...got back our....EOY results...since i always have the habit of posting my results here(regardless good or bad -.-) i'll just have to do it again...sian
From lowest:
Math: 69/100 (=.=". I am never good at math)(highest in my class is 95. Deborah+Phoebe. Deborah may get one more mark. Then mine will be a direct inversion of her marks -.- i don't like math!!bleh)
Biology: 78/100 (-.- But atleast there's still a Well Done there..ok lah)
Chemistry: 79/100 (i deliberately skipped 2 1-mark questions just because i didn't feel like doing them XD I regret them now :D)
IHSS: 19/30 (:) My econs essay went okay :D the population essay like PS)
Chinese: 30/40 (after minusing 2 marks for wrong words)
ARC: 33/40 (:D yay okay lah. I prepared most for ARC and neglected other subjects most of the time)
Lit: 35/40 (XD I didn't study/read Island Voices at all.heheheMy R & J pulled me up. Thanks :D :D hope you have a peaceful reunion in heaven, R and J :D I can still recall me failing lit in term one..glad i improved...)
Okay..basically what I need to improve on is...
MATH.
One word syllable subject. yet with so much power and look how it ignites the Fear in me.
And maybe the 2 sciences. I'm considering taking Chem HL, Chinese HL and Lit HL in year 5! My three most favourite subjects..Bio...maybe. But the practical will be really hard!!>.<
I'm generally quite satisfied with my results, and I'm already very thankful that I've passed MATH.-.-
Now, there's only MILP results left. Fearing for the theory section. Critical listening went okay I guess.
