HELLO i am
Koh Cheng Jin. I am currently turning 15 this year. I am a girl, from
SOTA's MUSIC FACULTY :D and
SNYO's V2/V1.I love God and Life, and friends are very important to me. I love Beethoven and Plum blossom too. Plum blossom thrives in winter, and I admire their endurance, like those of Beethoven's. :)
Current favourite composers:
Mozart: Music that allows my soul to wander around, (joyful music) always never fail to put make me happy, (dark music) never fail to make me ponder about Mozart's other character which is not commonly seen.
Beethoven: Music that allows me to know him better, and to see how music is the best form of expression that should be hold in high reverence.
Tchaikovsky: Music that allows me to realise that...life= music, and romantic music are not always mushy like korean dramas' music. It can be dark too.
Bach: Music that (similar to Mozart) allows me to experience a roller-coaster ride and being in a forest with polyphonic animal/nature sounds.

YEAH ok
haiya my dad still blocked my blogger sites at home
so coudnt visit anyone's blog
BUT NOW I AM IN SCHOOL YOOHOO
So today im gonna submit my poem for the poetry competition thingy
but miss melissa said I have to take this submission form thingy
Arghya.
ok, so my poem is not about romantic love/platonic love but about ....parental love!!!
it's about this old man who has alzheimer disease and then in a few months time he'll be forgetting the ppl he knows. So he writes stacks of letters of past stories( in hope to remember his daughter more clearly) addressed to his only daughter who left him 10 years ago because of a grave mistake he made, and he hopes that he will not forget her. and BLABLA. and he still wanna meet her again for one last time before she vanishes from his mind. so sad.
lol part of the inspiration came from the tearful korean movie "A moment to remember" which is about a how a guy deals with and takes care of his young 20+ girlfriend who has PREMATURE ALZHEIMER'S.
it's really touching! the girl even forgot how to go to the toilet and the guy helped her to clean up her "mess", :( so sad...and how the guy and the girl's family try to re-enact certain scenes to spark the girl's memory back again.(eg when she meets the guy for the first time).
And also how pictures with names are hung around the couple's house for the girl to remember everything again..and the guy never left her side even though in the end she even forgot who he is and mistook him as her ex by calling her ex's name to him. LOL. D; the rest watch it yourselves! it's on youtube! with eng sub!
SO I RECOMMEND YOU ALL TO WATCH IT! lol .

so AND THEY PLAYED LUDWIGGIE BEETHOVEN'S 3RD SYMPHONY "EROICA" 1ST MOVEMENT TWO TIMES ON CD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ONE TIME IN THE CAR, ANOTHER IN THE SKY!!!THE MAIN THEME IS AWESOME!!SO HEROIC!!!AHHH BEEBEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TRALALA.
ok since it's new year im gonna write some new year wishes i have for this year:
-To play better in yangqin and violin dip
-to be able to do well in math
-to be able to just, atleast, understand chemistry ( :( dunno whattheheck about chemical bonding)
-to spend more time with my dearest friends
-to play better in YO
-to be more sporty
-to talk to cyvy more since he has only a few more years left
-to be a good treasurer and do my job
-to contribute more to class discussions
-to be better at literature
-to be better at chi bilingual. (so hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
-to be happy often
-to be rarely sad
-to spend my time wisely
-to care more about my friends
-to be less evil(muahaha)
-to be better musician
-to spend more time on piano
-to be helpful
-to be grateful with whatever things i have on my hands
-to continue wearing my favourite sport shoes(hope the left shoe's skin tip wont tear! :( ) my mum bought for me since year one

YES FINALLY THE FIRST POST HERE SINCE 2011 :D
I like my class!! :) they are so friendly and nice and all smiles and easy to talk to and amiable and awesome and haha

haha i think i'll be at the bottom. srsly, all the ppl in my class are ALL SO SMART!!! unlike me.. im lazy and sleepy everytime sigh. AND I DONT UNDERSTAND CHEMISTRY HELP HELP :( so cheem! i think i will fail chemistry. AND MATH TOO. URGH i dont like exponential so hard.
OK, so erm im in the 3A group for theory! luckily im outta 3B haha the ppl there too smart(as i have said im lazy and sleepy) hahaha ok so today mr stromberg taught us musicals!! HAHA our class is so silent ahaha it will be fun to learn musicals!
miss yang also said that there will be a lunchtime concert in week 6 organized by the YR 4( :) yay) MTL department, and they want chinese instrumentalist to perform, so miss yang ask me, bennett and gillian to perform! btw bennett got 1st prize for OPEN SUONA cat!!and gillian got 2nd prize for RUAN YOUTH cat! and me hahaha. haiz, now still need to relearn(revise) the piece i learnt last yr blehhhh.
and yesterday 20/1/2011 was the SNYO MUSICAL OLYMPUS CONCERT!!!WOOOHOOOO THE SOLOISTS WERE AWESOME! ALL THE LATE REHEARSALS AND HARD WORK PAID OFF! thanks darrell! HAHA finally i can rest. I shall name the soloists here : Hayrapet, Ilya, Kong Xian long, Istvan, and Jaesig! Saxophone, Piano, Violin, Cello, and Voice respectively! THANKS EVERYONE FOR COMING TO SUPPORT (: and woohoo i also got all their autographs! and took photos with them!! IT'S ONCE IN A LIFETIME one gets to meet these famous (first prize winners) soloists from all around the country!! thank you SNYO! (:
and dylan is so cute HAHAHAHA.
and i saw michael too..he gave a standing ovation and he's sitting right infront.. :P (:
ok so now im super duper busy. tonight i still have to go back to my pri school with wanting and dr yap and mr ku and another teacher to talk about SOTA. Ok i will say my experiences in both G campus and Z campus (: sometimes i wonder what if a person does not have memories to recall, that will be so sad. :(
anyway now im in the library looking for the yangqin program notes thing haiya. then i will watch abit of condor heroes, then search for chemistry stuff...
