The One And Only Koh Cheng Jin.
HELLO i am
Koh Cheng Jin. I am currently turning 15 this year. I am a girl, from
SOTA's MUSIC FACULTY :D and
SNYO's V2/V1.I love God and Life, and friends are very important to me. I love Beethoven and Plum blossom too. Plum blossom thrives in winter, and I admire their endurance, like those of Beethoven's. :)
Current favourite composers:
Mozart: Music that allows my soul to wander around, (joyful music) always never fail to put make me happy, (dark music) never fail to make me ponder about Mozart's other character which is not commonly seen.
Beethoven: Music that allows me to know him better, and to see how music is the best form of expression that should be hold in high reverence.
Tchaikovsky: Music that allows me to realise that...life= music, and romantic music are not always mushy like korean dramas' music. It can be dark too.
Bach: Music that (similar to Mozart) allows me to experience a roller-coaster ride and being in a forest with polyphonic animal/nature sounds.

HIHI
long time no post! :DD
wahhhh holidays are ending in less than a week's time! :(
Here are some good and bad things about school starting.
GOOD THINGS:
1) See my friends again :DD
2) Get to do lotta math again! :D
3) Get to do CHINESE again! yayyyy
4) Get to see my instrument again..:( miss it alot alot.(
shh i havent been practising it during the hols AT ALL :P)
5) Can enjoy chamber once more!! but don't know how to have chamber..'cause YO's rehearsal's starting at 6.30 pm when sch starts. :( sigh let nature take it's course then. XD
BAD THINGS:
1) Can't get to sleep as much. :( :( will be very tired...
2) Can't get to practise violin as much..:( (
i decided not to go for juilliard(more difficult mah) but Yehudi Menuhin school instead. I'm going to try for it when i'm 16. that's the last age year that they are going to accept students..hopefully i can stand a chance. God bless~)
3) Can't practise YO pieces as much.. and dip pieces.. :(
4) WED IS THE DAY I'M GOING TO EXTRACT MY 4 TOOTH AT ONE GO. mum said im going to faint from the pain. ohmannnnnnnnnnnnnnz. im going to laugh when they pull out my teeth. cause i'll think of funny moments from the past to make myself turn away from the physical pain. XDXD yayy :D
5) Can't focus on violin as much. and piano too. ohhh i just learnt bach's invention no.13 in a minor, it's my veryveryvery FIRST time playing it..and i developed an non-infatuated instant love for baroque music...i didnt know it's so nice...sobsob *.*... my mum played it before when she was young, and she gave me this bach invention book that she used before in decades long ago. coooooool!!! it's "antique" with yellow bits of shades here and there..ohwells. :DDD <3 MY MUM, HAPPY NON-OFFICIAL MOTHERS' DAY :D

WENT TO AN MOE CHINESE ORCHESTRA(made up of ppl from diff sec schs) CONCERT with my mum and sister and PINGYU :D
Saw my brother's erhu friend there. :D and Edmund, the double-bass player from ys!!
it was really awesome. Mr Quek Ling Kiong was conducting! it was super funny...his score dropped on the ground buahahaha
we were sitting at the 2ND ROW right at the front. no one else was sitting the same row as us! hahahahahaha mr quek saw us!!i think...hehehehe HAHA going to concerts with pingyu is always fun. XD
YAY one more concert review!!
shucks i havent done the 10 music reviews dr koh told us to do..:( :( :( not a single one done. OH SHOOOOOOOOTSS.

with regards to the ELEVEN HINTS OF LIFE below,
I made up my own hints of life too!
that is, in my own perspective. :D
TEN HINTS ON LIFE
1) Life is like a refrigerator, you open it to get what you want, you close it when you don't want to get what you want. You can always peep in to enjoy the air-con, but don't forget to close it lest the air-con runs out.
2) A best friend never judge. We can only be a real judge if there are real solid hard evidences that we see with our own eyes. It is like law.
3) A soul mate is someone who introduces you to the best meal, with a flower on top, in simple words. ;D
4) Live your life to the fullest everyday with happiness, because when you die, you'll be able to smile contently with no regrets, and be able to wholly let go of the world you lived.
5) Do whatever you want. Say sorry, be kind, run for your dreams, 'cause Time will not stay forever.
Run for time like how you run for the MRT train.
6) They say Money makes the world go round, but it's supposed to be Money makes the world go SQUARE, 'cause when people run for money, when they reach the edge, they'll just fall and fall.
7) Love is not like the triangle, love is not like the square. Love is like a circle, like a ring, that there'll be no end to it. It goes round and round, like how it travels with no boundaries.
8) A smile is like the U shape you draw on the math graph. There's only positive outcomes of it, not negative. It turns everything upwards by defying gravity which pulls everything downwards.
9) A rainbow is something that lights up a rainy day with streaks of colors.
10) God made us two nostrils so that when one gets stuck we can still breathe with the other. God made us two hands to make work easier. God made us two eyes to see things better. But God only made us one heart so that we will love everything with only one sincere heart.

yesshhhh i bought a BERLINER PHILHARMONIKER ticket!!!it's $250....very expensive!!!!shhh on 23rd Nov...no more student tickets($40 & $80 one) so have to buy the $250 one. :( but YESSSSSS i bought it! thanks mum! thanks mummy!!berlin philhamonic orch is considered one of the world's finest orchestras!!^^ <3 mum. can't wait to watch it!! suddenly wish for EOY hols to begin like right now!!!! ahhhhhh Simon Rattle!!!!!!

Went to watch Dr Koh's On The String on June The 5TH. :DD
Dr Koh's daughter Alvi is so cute!!!!!(missing 2 dots on the A) I didn't know her daddy is PerMagnus Lindborg!!
and Neville performed too!! with the sota ppl...
plus other ppl....

not a long time ago,
i dreamt that there's an
HUMAN-EATING GHOST OSTRICH living in the storeroom of my house.
Every night it will come out and eat people.
My family was very afraid of it.
Then one day it had a
BABY GHOST OSTRICH!!!! :DD
So we feed milk to it everyday, and the baby seems to like us. ^^
So the Ghost Ostrich Mum decided not to eat us anymore!! :) :)
BUT one day
I contracted the
OSTRICH-DISEASE!!!!!
So I grew
TWO MORE OSTRICH'S EYES BOTH ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF MY RIGHT EYE!!!
the legend says the Ghost Ostrich will not EAT people with Ostrich's Eyes.
WOW!
so i became the lucky star of my family!!!!! XDXD

The Dream of the SHORT-TSUNAMI IN CJ'S HOUSE, CJ'S ROOM.
Yesterday i dreamt that a TSUNAMI HIT SINGAPORE!!! i mean my house, my room!
I was sleeping on a double-decker bed with my sister..she's on top while i'm below..
then the waters came crashing in through the window!!!!!!!
but it ONLY FLOODED MY SISTER'S BED ON TOP!!!!
SO MY SIS ALMOST GOT WASHED AWAY!!!!
THEN I WOKE UP AND QUICKLY TRIED TO PULL MY SIS BACK IN!
THEN SURPRISINGLY MY HANDS GREW LONG!!
MISSION SUCCEEDED!
THEN WE HUGGED EACH OTHER AND HID IN A CORNER WHILE THE WAVES DIE DOWN...
