FIRSTDAY.\
We went to Jurong Bird Park first as our group is GROUP B8.
the food there is really nice!!!
with the company of lots and lots of FLAMINGOS!! :D XD
played some games with each of the different camp leaders. ^^
played the hulahoop game with marissa,
the bring-the-people-across-the-rope-game with calvin(our group managed to bring EVERYONE OVER WOOOOT),
the bring-the-hulahoop-around-your-body-while-holding-hands-and-blindfolded-game with kejia!
the tsunami-step-on-the-blue-mat-game with claire!(or is it clare?)
the making-shapes-with-big-rope-game with elaine!
the game with OngSim i forgot already hahaha
it was quite fun!!!! =DDD
lots of mosquitos there hahaha.

We also came up with a group cheer! it goes like this:

Secondday
We had a talk by the curator Miss Maggie! :D the Adaptation thingy. and touched reallll specimens of egg, penguin's feet, eagle's wing, parrot's body.....:D
can't believe they drained the contents out of the eggs!(so poor thing)

We played LANDQUEST!!!!!!!!!firstly we went to play the Time Quest thingy with Tricia..we have to piece a puzzle together, then connect a string of rubber bands and use it as a skipping rope to jump over it 2/3 times AS A WHOLE GROUP(twelve ppl minus two!) GAH, then form a circle and throw balls at each other without dropping the balls on the floor! hahahah then we have to GET WET under the water and RINSE the water out of OURSELVES into a bucket and we have to make it atleast 3/4 full or more than that! :D THAT WAS DAMMM FUN!!!!!!JIA CHENG WAS REALLLL FUNNEH. WE GOT WET FROM HEAD TO TOE...HAHAHAHAH

then we went to play the Web Of Doom thingy with Elaine.
IT WAS VERY FUN TOO! firstly we made an outfit for Jia Cheng using newspapers. it looked like an egyption outfit hahaha. :D then we have to go through the web of doom(supposedly made by a "spider") and jia cheng had to pick up the balls on the ground(supposedly the "spider's eggs") WITHOUT GETTING WET or..erm without his outfit tearing off. so we had to protect him all the way through the process by blocking out the water guns/water hahaha so once again we were all wet!!! :DD we earned bonus points for completing it within the given time duration. :D XD

Discovery Centre to look at birds..XD

Lory Loft to feed the lorries!! SO CUTE! and took pictures!! one red lorry flew onto my shoulder! ^^ <3 then we went for Colour Me and I was painted by Yin Ying while she was blindfolded and Tiana gave the directions hahaha. ^^

also went to the Parrots Paradise to Build A Bird Nest with Jamila! :D firstly we used lucky draw and picked some words for each of ourselves. At first i picked Mute but then jamila wanted me to be blindfolded haha..then we hold hands and walked through the parrots in their enclosures and Im right infront of the line...i cant see anything so the people behind had to lead me with directions haha. throughout the process we have to pick materials to make our birdnest hahaha....
so we worked together and made a bird nest out of newspapers, rotten leaves and tape. haha. ^^

also went to Pools Ampitheatre and caught a show entitled Kings Of the Skies at 4.00pm! it was SOOOOO COOOL AND BREATHTAKING to see Vultures, Eagles, Owls, and diff types of birds flying on top of our heads!!!!!! I HAVENT SEEN A BIRD SHOW IN SUCH A LONG TIME DUDE!!!XDXDXD SO COOOOL I CAN FEEL THE WINGS GAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA and we were sitting RIGHT in front!!! when the lady asked for volunteers jia cheng raised up his hand, then she said she want a brave young LADY as a volunteer and jia cheng continued raising his hand even higher buahahahahahah but too bad he's not selected aw. lol. anw the birds are so cute!!! and right in front of us!!!^^
we also went to see the Owls at erm...erm...i forgot the place's name. HAHAH but it was cool to see the snowy owl, malay fish owl, and blablabla
and also found out that owls can turn their heads around 270 degree!! GAUAH!!!

i hope i didnt forget any of the other places we went to...

passed by mangrove swamps.
the red shirt instructor told us that the use of mangrove swamps is to act as a natural fertiliser to trap rubbish ! so cool!!!but didnt see any sea otters or jellyfish or crabs sighhya
it was extraordinary cause i didnt feel tired AT ALL. mannnn! it was quite a longgg distance.
kayaked with Megan hahah. ^^ I was sitting at the front while she's at the back

managed to SPLASH SOME SEA WATER AT CALVIN USING THE PADDLE HAHA
atfirst i was trying to use the paddle to try splashing
then calvin was just at our right side
then he shouted " who are you trying to splash!" in a mocking way wahlao
then i screamed "you lah!!"
so i splashed him BUAHAHAHAHAHA his cap was wet. Hmph. haha
then he splashed me back. but so pathetic. only splashed my legs. nani nani poohpooh. XD


the scenary is very beautiful at pulau ubin!!!
i like the wind! so strong!
so we rolled the ground sheets!
I was assigned to sleep with Pingyu, Faye, Jinxi, Megan, Sharmaine, Valerie Goh, and some other girls from b7 and b9. haha. yay pingyu!~! ^^
did pushups there too.-.-
the dogs there are pregnant so cute!!!
heard that suraj kicked a squirrel into the sea and it drowned. so sad!!!! :( :( :( :( wahlao.
got alot of grasshoppers there. haha eeekkkity eeekk.
we only have a mere 5 min to shower if not the toilet nazi Mei Zhi will kick down our doors....AH. but i still managed to shampoo my hair BUAHAHAHAH...

it was quite a peaceful night there too!! the food there is awesome. dam the leaders they got another plate of egg. hhaahha when our group got extra fish then tuan fong was like " ehhh we are leaders give us give us " hahaha

WE HAD NIGHT WALK..
before that i was scaring ppl with the pair-of-eyes story. it goes like this:

at night, you see a pair of glowing eyes staring down at you when the lightning strikes
then the eyes disappear
then u walk on
then u see the eyes again
the same pair of eyes
u know why u see them at a different angle?
cause the owl turned 270degree around so u see them
the light of the lighning flickering on the eyes
(like how at the eating lounge u see yeolay under the flickering light..looks evil)
hahaha

ppl were telling me not to disturb BANANA TREES

IT WAS KINDA SCARY...
i was shaking before i went in.
luckily Lemuel and some others calmed me down...pheww.
EACH ONE OF US SPENT ABOUT MORE THAN 5 MIN INSIDE THE DARK..
WE HAD TO FOLLOW THE GLOWSTICKS THERE..walao then someone told me NOT TO LOOK BACK walao eh!!!
so i walked in. it was pitch black and dark.
walked halfway, then heard someone behind calling "chengjin".
i said "SHHH!"
then continued walking without turning behind.
then suddenly a person tapped my shoulder and i realised it's BRIDGET HAHAHAHAHHAHA whahaha
so the two of us walked together throughout the route hahaha and i didnt allow my mind to play tricks on me this time round. ha! yay got bridget to accompany me...

the toilets there are all squat-toilets..the jap style, they say. lol.

saw tuan fong applying some kind of powder on his legs.
because of sand flies..etc.
me and pingyu we were exploring his legs hahaha(sounds wrong)
then i said it looked like NOODLES!! really!! then tuan fong told us to quickly go to sleep LOLLL. hahahahah whitewhite

aw man last day! :(
packed our stuff
and kayakkayakkayak back to Changi.
so weird.
i became tired so easily.
.... so we were quite slow. haha
then we rafted up together
and efei pee-eed in the sea.
huimin too. hahaha
then both hui min and sharmaine capsized. HAHAHAHAHAH so we were all holding tight to each other's boats while the instructor helped them up.
haha man it was such a hard time
while i was munching biscuits away. haha.
oh ya jian hao lost his paddle too. haha
then found it. LOLLL.

During camp  i have learnt alot
and i have made new friends and worked together with many people
I learnt self-discipline too.
and how to have fun!
glad that it was worthwhile

Term 1 and term 2 has been a great starting phase for the year 2010 for me.
As well as my social progress with people around me
And how I adapt myself to being a year two.
new friends, new bondings, new refreshment.
I'm glad.
What i can say now is, being a year two is okay. okay. :)
I'm glad that I did well in chinese , life science and abitABIT of maths in term one. hehehehe
I really need to buck up in other subjects. Yeah! :D
it's quite busy nowadays.
one year older means more work! well not exactly one year older. 
Term one and two are filled with ups and downs with some tears being shed
but I have already learnt to overcome them.

after school went to mrlc lab and continued doing LogicPro with pingyu reading there ^^
then went to have dinner with Isabelle and Pingyu and Killiney@ Pomo. :D
i ate a $4.++ fried rice plus ice lemon tea. mann it was quite a delicious meal! =D
luckily i didnt waste too much food thanks to isabelle for teaching me not to waste food even tho how much i hate IKAN BILIS.

but i like their performance. ^^

while waiting for mr quek outside MTR,

then mr quek gave us scores
he wanted us to join the anklung/body percussion chamber group
DINNER'S CLUB. the other one i forgot. broooooomsss
had to bring those plates and blabla next week
he said there's not enough ppl for the group, he needs 6 ppl.
so yea hahahhaa it should be quite fun.

today we had theatre IA in tha morning
dam fun. :D

then we had PE!!!!
only our class 'cause g3 ppl went for some checkup
come to think of it this is the FIRST time of the year Only OUR CLASS played PE together muahaha
mr tan brought us to the rooftop
it was dam hot and bright
we played softball..
reg 1-12 -> a team
1-13 -> another team
guahahaha.
think the result was 9-9 idk maybe im wrong
hahaha it was really fun!!! =DDDDDDDD
softball's the best. then rugby. then volleyball. =)

We were playing softball and some yr ones including Rosemary, and some yr threes and fours including lipjiang and tuanfong and some more yr twos, were playing together muahahaha
then rosemary was in my team
we were fielding la then i caught the ball then i screamed rosemary's name and threw it to her 'cause she's at the base, then she didn't catch it 'cause she was talking to her friend, and she was sitting down walau.=.= then the 2nd time i threw it to her she caught it. YAY :) LOL.

then previous night i dream that
G7 our class had a CLASS DOG. hahahahahaha then it sat on my head with it's tailed curled around my head. so tiny and small. SO CUTE. =DDDDDD ^^ then it went to sat on jake's head. buaahahaha luckily never pee there XD

today i reached sch at 9am to meet sabrina to do some preparation work for chi SA.

haha after sab went off with clare ,
 i stayed back in school and watched part 14/18 of a documentary on Beethoven that i saved in my thumbdrive.
watched the part when Carl Van Beethoven his brother died from some serious illness. so sad
and how Ludwig wanted to take full custody of his nephew KARL but Johanna Van Beethoven, karl's mum( Carl's husband), wanted to look after karl too, 'cause she's his mum.
but in the end Ludwig managed to take full custody of Karl.
come on he's europe's most renowned musician during that time, how could Johanna stand a chance against him.
so yea.
then i saw how Ludwig prevented Karl from seeing his mum
so mean. he's mad.
but he's still my favorite composer and music idol that i respect alot.^^
then Karl, only a nine yr old boy, was realllllll afraid of Ludwig 'cause Ludwig had a bad temper
then the quicktime player refused to play the rest of the part walau
after beethoven's greatest piano sonata, THE HAMMERKLAVIER was composed.
it's not only about expressing those emotions, but it acts like a machine, that explore every inch of the piano keyboard.

then i skipped all the way to dhoby gourt mrt station
to quickly run out of this little nice and comfy world of yours, i mean, both of yours

sometimes I just want some solitude.
and I like to write my thoughts down here too. Everything.
Honestly. And in a direct manner. I like things the way they are.
I like things that are straightforward. I don't care if there's grammatically wrong mistakes here.
That's me.

I love directness. I hate indirectness because I won't know what others are really thinking sometimes.
ok so here are my reflections for today.
Here is what I truly have in my mind right now.
Haters out there, if you all hate me, just don't read my blog 'cause it won't help you in any sense, unless you're all stalking me, to see if I have written anything bad about you, trying to check on me.
well obviously I am in no position to stop you all from doing this because I don't have the power nor the right to do so. Everyone has their own freedom in their own way, I suppose.

How greatly you all have wronged me.
I guess there's no one in this world to wholly rely on.
There's some I thought I could rely on, for help, but I realize it's only for temporary.
It'll be gone. It's just transient.
Really.

There's some I thought I could believe in.
There's some I thought i could confide to.
How wrong was I.
How utterly wrong.

People blame each other for what they have not done.
People hate each other because of accusations plus suspicions.
People dislike each other because of certain conflicts and arguments.
People despise each other because they couldn't understand them.
What has the world become?

Who wants to listen to happy songs when they are angry?
Who would really cheer up when they are sad?
Who, in fact, rarely, would brighten themselves up when they are depressed?
It's just so... difficult to do so.

The most difficult thing
is to feel, a heart, broken.
Love. Career. Money. Friendships. Relationships.
All of them, has the power to break a heart. Bruise a heart.

To me, I think Love and Friendships play the biggest roles.
And now, I really don't know who to trust,
who to depend on,
who to rely on.

That is why,
I will not rely on anyone for their company anymore.
I will never trust anyone anymore.
Stop it.
Please stop it. I'm trying my best. Leave me alone, all of you. Leave me alone, please.

I want solitary confinement when I need it.
Don't rub it in.
Trying to find people to confide to, is just so difficult.
Especially those who can really truly understand.


In life's long run, we have to be picky sometimes.
