HELLO i am
Koh Cheng Jin. I am currently turning 15 this year. I am a girl, from
SOTA's MUSIC FACULTY :D and
SNYO's V2/V1.I love God and Life, and friends are very important to me. I love Beethoven and Plum blossom too. Plum blossom thrives in winter, and I admire their endurance, like those of Beethoven's. :)
Current favourite composers:
Mozart: Music that allows my soul to wander around, (joyful music) always never fail to put make me happy, (dark music) never fail to make me ponder about Mozart's other character which is not commonly seen.
Beethoven: Music that allows me to know him better, and to see how music is the best form of expression that should be hold in high reverence.
Tchaikovsky: Music that allows me to realise that...life= music, and romantic music are not always mushy like korean dramas' music. It can be dark too.
Bach: Music that (similar to Mozart) allows me to experience a roller-coaster ride and being in a forest with polyphonic animal/nature sounds.

My fingers' feeling better. Thank God. :)
On sat, sat with Samantha. And someone wrote on rebecca's and my scores to call the section leader at 9....... for the correct bowings. LOL. Ok I smsed him already, too bad he doesn't have it. Will confirm with the ASL on sat. :D
This sat starts with The concerto, got time to linger around and slack. :D
Mrs Wong said only 170/883 tickets were sold. Hopefully more ppl are going. :D
oOOPS My parents haven't bought the tickets yet..Gomenasai!!

My left hand got twisted and slammed by the car door. Oh well, My first, second, third and fourth finger got twisted. And now there's one
OR CHAE on my middle(third finger) finger!! :(
VERY PAIN. :(
And now,
I can't do vibrato on my left hand and i can't tune(tuning pegs) anymore!!!OMG CAN I STILL PLAY IN SNYO??:( :( :(I didn't even go to the clinic as my rigid mum told me that the fingers can recover on their own. I mean, how can that happen? Wounds of the heart would only heal in time, not physical wounds. :(Ok, i'm still going for rehearsals. Even if i can't vibrate, i'll try my best to make my left hand fingers move. :(

Today my piano teacher taught me a new piece, Beethoven's Sonata opus something in something major/minor , number something. HAHA sorry to forget that name. :(
Ok, she heard my
Aeolian Harp by Chopin and
Sonata Pathetique by Beethoven, and said i just need to polish them will do. (:
Oh, and i was really hoping she could teach me
Appassionata Opus 57 by Beethoven, aka Grand Sonata in F minor. :D but she said that one needs lots of PASSION and it's a very demanding piece for the Passionate feeling, as well as techniques.
Anways i'm learning that secretly myself. HAHA third movement is wonderful. Listen it @youtube!=D
OK i'm eating apples now. Yum.
I look forward to Two rehearsals in a row. :D

I had so much fun with Rachmaninoff just now in the music studio! The guest conductor Mr Joshua Tan is good!:D he's very nice!^^ And his speed for Rach's third movement is very very FAST AND LILT!!!damned FUN ! HAHA. I love Rach.
Oh, the first time i had the "very sensational feeling" about Debussy's Prelude To An Afternoon Of A Faun!!It was really peaceful, like Heaven's music....:D

TSK SORRY SORRY FOR NOT APPEARING FOR SUCH A LONG TIME!!=.="

FIRSTLY,
NUMBER ONE.
I TOPPED THE WHOLE YR ONE!! FOR INSTRUMENTAL STUDY ASSESSMENT(73.8/100), MUSIC THEORY AND ANALYSIS(90.8/100), AND OVERALL FOR
MUSIC!!(forgot the score hHAHA) YAY LOL :DNUMBER TWO.I GOT 2ND HIGHEST FOR CHINESE OVERALL IN MY CLASS. HIGHEST IS SABRINA. :)BUT PINGYU GOT THE HIGHEST FOR WHOLE YR ONE! SHE GOT 87.4 FOR CHINESE. WTH LAH. HAHAHA :D NUMBER THREE.The soloist Ike rehearsed THE VERY FIRST TIME WITH US (SNYO) YESTERDAY FOR THE CONCERTO POUR VIOLIN IN D BY ALEXANDRE. OMG HE'S DAMNED PRO!!!!!:D HE MEMORISED ALR. THE SAD THING IS, WE HAVE TO CUT STRINGS, MEANS SOME PLAYERS DO NOT NEED TO PLAY FOR THE PIECE. I BET THEY'LL BE CUTTING DOWN THE NEW ONES LIKE ME. :( THEY ONLY NEED 12 2ND VIOLINS, I BET ME AND MY FRIENDS REBECCA AND VICTORIA WOULD BE OUT. Nvm lah cause we're NEW anyway!BTW i'm doing fine in the main orchestra and i love the 2nd violin people. They are so friendly! ^^here's some of the ppl in 2nd violin who i know:Section leaders: Hao Wei and NaiJing.Samantha Lee(from SOTA^^), Kimberlyn.Tanya , (forgot the name, sry), Sarah Ng(from SOTA TOO!AGP!:D)Phoon Yi, Johnson, Daniel lim, Andre.Xiu Qi(i think so..),ME!,Rebecca, Victoria :DMost of the people in 2nd violin participated in the concert when Mr Leonard Tan's conducting. :D like Andre, Samantha, Johnson, Crystal(in 1st violin)..When i'm in 2nd violin for that very first concert for me!^6 That's why i know their names..Andre's the concert master and Sam's the principal HAHA :DYA i think only like that. HAHA :DNeville, Kyu Ri and Yu Shin are in First Violin, and they seem to be enjoying themselves...Anyway, our AWESOME 2nd violin section just had sectional lunch together before rehearsal!^^ Then Thaddeus(sota too!) came and join us and left after a while. ==Now i know more about the ppl in 2nd violin. ^^YAY
NUMBER FOUR.
On wed the 4th, Me, Ping Yu, Gillian and Geneva(SOTA CHAMBER FRIENDS!^^) went to East Coast Park and Gillian's house! We had so much fun chilling out together!!
Thanks to Ping Yu, i half-learned how to skate!^^ Thanks! I rented a bike too! I love the breeze.^^ Gillian and Geneva went to have fun at the sandy beach.:D Owned by the Gs. XD
Later, at night we went to Gillian's house to have the awesome BBQ!omg i love Gillian's Dog, SPARKY!!^^ SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!(btw it poooed on the grass in her condo XD)

While eating, we played Truth Or Dare!!!!We had so much fun and laughter together. The topic was all about Calvin and KengYang(2 erhus from our sch), and some teachers from SOTA. HAHAHAJ
Ping Yu was hilarious! She talked about the Calvin-KengYang Multiple Umbrella, and some of us had to call Calvin/KengYang to tell them one positve thing about them hHAHAHA(IT'S A DARE!)
Then PY gave the suggestion of calling Calvin and telling him that
HIS LIPS ARE AS RED AS SNOW WHITE'S. (me and geneva's suppose to do that job.-.-)HAHA but he didn't pick up his phone. :( -.-
Then Geneva told KengYang that his braces are SEXY. HAHAHA
OK OKOK WE HAD SO MUCH FUN THAT NIGHT!
REACHED HOME AT 10 PLUS. -..-
NUMBER FIVE.I LEARNED LOTS OF SECRETS DURING THESE HOLIDAYS HAHAHAHA! JUST TO MAKE YOU READERS JEALOUS! LOL.=D
BTW I TOLD ONE OF MY SENIORS WHO I LIKED, AND SHE TOLD ME LOTTA STUFFS ABOUT HIM. NOW I KNOW. HE LIKED LOTS OF PPL BEFORE. PPL 'S NAMES THAT STARTS WITH A, C, L , H......NOW I KNOW HE;S THAT KIND OF PPL. OK I SHALL GIVE UP. REALLY.AND SHE TOLD ME THAT HE'S ONLY JOKING WITH PPL MOST OF THE TIMES.
